Some News

Well, I discovered Reading has made me an offer. I try to keep a structure to my blogs, so that's why this isn't just "WOOHOOH!" in gigantic letters, but I am really happy about it. It's the University I most wanted to go to so pretty much where I'm going. Holloway has a better reputation and I have an interview there, but I don't think I'll go even if I got in. It's the Theatre and Film I'm interested in now, film perhaps more than theatre. I'm almost looking forward to going uni, although not quite. Still not looking forward to leaving all of this behind. By 'this', I mean you guys.

Anyway, that was good news. Also, I've been playing FFXI that Boote and Marc were kind enough to get me for my birthday (after two orders that didn't show up, one that showed up with its codes used and a scratched CD we FINALLY got it working), which marks the first (non-free and really crappy) MMORPG I've played. And I kinda see why they can be fun. Admitingly this one is a big 3D world over the 2dness of the ones Marc and Pete used to play, but I can see why people enjoy them. Being in a whole world populated by others is really cool, and something interesting always happens. Suprisingly for a world comprised of computer dorks, there is very little irritating assholes on there. So I've finally discovered the lure of MMORPGS.

But if I don't come out somewhere because I'm playing a game, I personally give you all permission to punch me in the face.

Twice.
